Georgios P. Katsikas

I serve as Technical Project Manager and Fundraising Manager in UBITECH's Network Softwarization and IoT (NSIT) group. Specifically, I work as:
(i) technical coordinator for 3 EU projects,
(ii) work package/task leader for 7 EU projects in total, while
(iii) driving the design and development of UBITECH's flagship service orchestrator titled Maestro.
To this end, I am mentoring a team of 8 software developers, network engineers, and devops engineers in the company with a common vision to take Maestro to the world of 6G communications, sensor networks, edge computing, and artificial intelligence.
I also find some time for intriguing development in the context of SDN and NFV, mainly acting as: (i) the P4 expert of the ETSI Software Development Group for TeraFlowSDN (SDG TFS), where I serve as Technical Steering Committee member and P4 module developer and (ii) Technical Steering Committee member of the ETSI SDG for OpenSlice (SDG OSL).
